I graduated in August of 2005 from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT) in Groton, CT and passed the NCBTMB's National Certification exam soon thereafter. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings including a day spa, a private massage therapy practice specializing in working with clients with Fibromyalgia, chiropractic offices, and as a teaching assistant at CCMT. In 2007 I completed a workshop in Myofascial Release and an extensive Medical Massage Practitioner program. In 2010, I founded Therapeutic Touch Massage Therapy in Niantic, CT and continue to provide therapeutic massage therapy services for a wide range of clients. I have maintained my own continuing education requirements and expanded my knowledge over the years with a variety of quality courses and in May of 2017, I graduated from Siena Heights University with a Bachelors of Applied Science majoring in Massage Therapy.
I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Connecticut (#006359). I am also Board Certified (#440019-00) with the NCBTMB and an Approved Provider of Continuing Education (#1529). I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and I am also a founder and Vice President of The LMT Network, a Southeastern CT non-profit massage therapist organization.
